As you will probably recall F/O/ S.R.Peacock Edwards, known by his colleages and friends as ” Teddy “, was one of the 25 South African R.A.F. Pilots the flew in The Battle of Britain.
There were no photo’s of him, not even in Kenneth G Wynn’s Directory of the Few, Men of the Battle of Britain. And Chris de Wit could not find a photo ether when he wrote his book I am fortunate to have met and am friendly with his two surviving sons, Mike and Rick and asked them for a couple of photo’s of their father.
I therefore thank his son Air Commodore R,S, Peacock – Edwards CBE AFC for sending me these two photos of his father
Best Wishes
